WHY USE AT NIGHT?

The regeneration of our cells happens at night during the sleep cycle. The Microcrystalized Elastic Fibre Eye Strips’ elastic tension can effectively inhibit the squeezing movement of the skin and muscles around the eye area during the time of treatment. Smoothing, firming and fading the existing wrinkles while preventing the formation of new ones.

DIRECTIONS:

For best results, use before going to sleep.

1. Cleanse and pat dry face.

2. Apply NUVO SKIN SERUM (one eye at a time) directly around the eye area that is to be covered by the strips. You will apply strips immediately after, don’t

let the serum dry.

3. Holding the strips with the white protective layer facing you, remove the white layer from the strips. This exposed side of the strip is what will come to

contact with your skin.

4. Remove the strip from plastic film and apply the strip to the under-eye area.

5. Moisten fingers with water and smooth out the strips in one direction. Removing any small bubbles and ensuring a proper seal along the edges.

6. Sleep.

7. Once you wake up in the morning, remove the strips. Do not throw away the strips; you can dissolve them in a bowl with water to make a moisturizer

solution for your skin.*

8. Apply NUVO SKIN SERUM after cleansing face and resume morning skincare routine.

The recommended use for this product is at night time. However, you can use it during the day. (See below for daytime directions).

If using day and night, allow a minimum break of 6 hours in between treatments.

DAYTIME USE DIRECTIONS:

1. Remove makeup.

2. Cleanse and pat dry face.

9. Apply NUVO SKIN SERUM after cleansing face. Wait 5 minutes before resuming makeup application, if needed.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

– For initial treatment, it is recommended to use daily for (10-14) days consecutively until desired effects are achieved.

– Post initial treatment; use once every 2 -3 days to maintain skin elasticity.

– For sensitive skin: 1-2 hours maximum is the suggested time for initial use. Gradually increase the length of time as your skin adapts.

– If you are sensitive to cold, you can warm up the patches by placing the unopened pack between your hands and rub ever so gently.

– For an additional cooling effect, place unopened patches in the fridge to chill the patches before use. This is great for a hot day or to help with pufiness.

WHAT TO DO WITH USED EYE STRIPS?

A bonus use for NUVO SKIN Microcrystalized Elastic Fibre Eye Strips! NŪVO SKIN Microcrystalized Elastic Fibre Eye Strips is a multi-use product.

After initial use, the patches can be turned into a microcrystalline collagen essence. This essence is rich in hyaluronic acid, collagen and plant extracts.

OPTION 1: MOISTURIZING LOTION

– Rinse and soak used strips in a small bowl with water for 30 minutes.

– Stir and remove web fibre.

– Place lotion in an air-tight container. It will keep for approximately 3 – 7 days.

– Apply to areas that need it. Example: face, body and hands.

OPTION 2: HYDRATING MIST

– Rinse and soak used strips with 50ml-100ml of distilled water in a spray bottle for approximately 30 minutes.

– Stir the solution to speed up the process. Remove web fibre.

– Use as a hydrating mist throughout the day.

OPTION 3: MASK PACK

– Rinse and soak the used strips in distilled water (ideally) approx. 5-10 ml for 5-10 minutes. DO NOT STIR the product yet. During this time clean and dry

your face.

– Collect the collagen essence. Stir and remove web fibre.

– Apply the collagen essence to the face and neck evenly, avoiding the eyes.

– Leave on for 20-30 minutes and wipe off the mask and rinse the face with water.

EYE STRIP:

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene. Commonly used for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract contains many anti-inflammatory properties including gallic acid and tannins. It is widely known for its medicinal and healing properties to help relieve inflammation and protect against skin damage.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Protein Extract creates a protective barrier and promotes the retention of moisture with soothing and healing properties that decrease inflammation and redness.

Hyaluronic Acid possesses moisture-binding capabilities like no other which is vital in the prevention of fine lines and wrinkles. It also protects against environmental stressors like free radicals created from pollution, smog, dust, cigarette smoke, and the sun.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract is a natural antioxidant and contains anti-inflammatory properties including malic acid, an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), which helps to exfoliate the top layers of skin, promote the restoration of moisture and allows for other active ingredients to penetrate the skin. The grape seed extract is also effective in the improvement of skin texture and maintenance of an even skin tone as it targets discolouration.

Portulaca Oleracea Extract is rich in linoleic and omega-3 fatty acids including vitamins A, B1, B2 and niacinamide. Used to neutralize free radicals and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Glycerin moisturizes the skin by drawing water from the air into the skin’s outer layer, forming a protective barrier that helps to prevent moisture loss.

NŪVO SKIN SERUM:

Wamino-BonBon a combination of Oryza Sativa (Rice) Lees Extract and Molasses is preservative-free and natural. It contains amino acids and B2 and helps in protecting, improving moisture levels and texture density of the skin.

Rice Ferment Filtrate (Sake) helps with evening the complexion’s appearance and reducing of sun and age spots. Possesses moisturizing, regenerating, detoxifying and soothing properties.

Japonica Seed Oil (Tsubaki) balances moisture in the skin. Traditionally known for its ability to retain moisture into the deepest layers of the skin, helping to heal dry and chapped skin.

Hyaluronic Acid possesses moisture-binding capabilities like no other which is vital in the prevention of fine lines and wrinkles. It also protects against environmental stressors like free radicals created from pollution, smog, dust, cigarette smoke, and the sun.

Prunus Mume Fruit Extract brightens and increases skin elasticity. More importantly, it slows the progress of ageing in the skin (glycation).

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract from Uji Tea contains complex properties that inhibit the key enzyme contributing to photo-ageing symptoms delaying UV damage. It is an antioxidant, UV protectant with anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits.

Onsen-Sui is derived from Japanese hot springs. A natural moisturizer is known for its nourishing and replenishing effect on the skin.

Glycerin moisturizes the skin by drawing water from the air into the skin’s outer layer, forming a protective barrier that helps to prevent moisture loss.

Propanediol draws moisture into the skin.  Softening and smoothing the skin by encouraging water retention.

Glyceryl Glucoside is an excellent moisturizing ingredient with high purity manufactured by an enzymatic reaction. Helps improve the delivery system of water in the skin providing moisture, skin elasticity and improving the skin barrier.
